Man sued for Advertising Fake Viagra Missile
October 13, 2008
A 48 year old New York man has been sued for trademark
infringement after he dragged a 25-foot-long fake missile around
Manhattan with the words "Viva Viagra" printed in blue
on its sides.
According to Pfizer, the manufacturers of the blockbuster anti-impotence
pill Viagra the man's use
of the company's logo is quite confusing and it can make people
believe that the rocket was an actual advertisement for the drug
used to treat male impotence.
Arye Sachs of West Babylon, the man who towed the fake missile
says no one would be deterred from buying the blue pills because
of what he did. He says he knows because he's a "customer."
Sachs hauled the missile on a trailer hitched to his car through
Manhattan, where he parked it in front of the Trump Tower on Sept.
8. He also drove it past Pfizer's headquarters.
